It seems musicians have gotten wise to the fact that if you make a really unique music video and get millions of hits on YouTube, you've as good as made it. Not that we're complaining because these videos are truly mind-blowing!

Fatboy Slim – Weapon of Choice

It just doesn’t get any cooler than this! This '90s anthem was just made a hundred times better when they released this amazing video. Featuring Christopher Walken with his characteristic expressionless face breaking into some pretty groovy dance moves, jumping off ceilings, and defying all the laws of physics makes for a video that’s just as comical as it is awesome!

Unkle – Eye For An Eye

This video won an award at the Edinburgh Film Festival, so it obviously appeals to film critics. This is a haunting track and the video is filled to the brim with creepy animation that sticks in your brain for far longer than you might want it to. Full marks for creativity!

The Verve – Bitter Sweet Symphony

Maybe the unbelievably good song has something to do with, it but it’s the simplicity of the video that really sets the tone for why it’s just so amazing. All it involves is the lead singer caught up in a beautiful metaphor. He walks down the streets, doing his own thing, rejecting conformity and simply ignoring everything around him. People are confused at first but they soon realize the beauty in being able to unabashedly be yourself and join him.

OK GO – This Too Shall Pass

OK GO has developed a reputation for videos that amuse, inspire, and entertain. One look at this video and you will see that they are quite simply the masters at pushing the envelope as far as visual reconstruction of their music is concerned. Just brilliant stuff all over!

Fujiya & Miyagi - Ankle Injuries

Imagine a music video made up of thousands of 6-sided, multi-coloured dice, all timed perfectly to go with the music. The video has an element of quirkiness and innovation that is needed perfect for a song as experimental and brilliant as this one.
